But! Your time is precious. So let me answer two questions for you:

  • “Is this place worth my time?”
  • “If so, where should I start?”

Seriously…I’m sure you have better things to do than be here, right?

So, let me guess.

You’ve tried zumba, half-marathons, paleo, yoga, cycling, the mediterranean diet, eating clean, juicing, sugar detoxes

and yet …

… you still are not happy with the reflection that meets you every morning.

It’s not like you’re not trying to look like a fitness model . . . you just want to feel confident in your own skin, have enough energy to show up for your people, fit into your clothes without having to wear Spanx…

So you dutifully go to the gym. And trudge up that Stair Master in all it’s glorious misery.

You eat “clean,” buy organic, bitterly order a grilled chicken salad when everyone else is enjoying margaritas and chips.

You follow the “rules” and wait for the pounds to start melting off and . . .

Nothing happens.

The scale goes up, not down. Your muffin top gets even more muffin-y. And you feel like all those times you’ve missed out on tasty treats or fun times with friends because you were following the “rules” was a complete and utter waste of time.

What the crap?

Allow me to let you in on a little secret…

The fitness industry is quite literally the Wild, Wild West. The supplement companies are out to rob you. The magazines try to lasso you with “flat belly tricks” that fly directly in the face of actual science. The fitness frontier is filled with “experts” promising quick fixes and miracle cures that are either unhealthy or un-maintainable.

It’s wrong.

And here you are, an intelligent, hard-working, honest gal, busting your butt on workouts and diets that flat out don’t work. You get frustrated. You give up trying altogether. And I can’t blame you.
